The Blue Ridge Mustang Club of Asheville has partnered with the Buncombe County Schools Foundation to promote and sell tickets to a 1965 Mustang convertible. This Mustang was born in late 1964 and has maintained her beauty for almost 50 years! With tickets being sold for ONLY $30, this is a chance to win a classic Mustang! All ticket purchases are tax deductible and to make this raffle even more enticing for you to purchase a ticket; the winner of the Mustang will have all taxes paid for! Imagine investing only $30 for a ticket, winning the car and having all the taxes paid! As you know, taxes for winnings in NC can be as high at 38%!!

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors the car was purchased by donations and any mechanical work was donated by Jimmy's Automotive, City Transmission and Garner Stereo. Members of the BRMCOA donated time and effort to add new chrome parts to the Mustang and to detail the vehicle both inside and out. This car is meant to be driven and also shown at car shows, so a free lifetime membership in the BRMCOA will be included in the winners package!
Until all 1965 tickets are sold (yes, the number of tickets available match the year of the car), the Mustang will be on display at various car shows throughout WNC and on display at the Hospice Treasures Thrift Store on Friday's and Saturday's (weather permitting). The address to see the Mustang is 105 Fairview Road and Hospice Treasures is located just up the road from the French Broad Brewery and below the Oakley neighborhood. In person ticket sales for the Mustang will be available for sale at Hospice Treasures Mon-Sat from 10-5 and at Jimmy's Automotive Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm. Tickets can also be purchased on line via BCSF.NET.
