Hello, and welcome to the Blue Ridge Mustang Club of Asheville        My name is Joe Grace and I am the President and founder of the Blue Ridge Mustang Club of Asheville.  Our first meeting was in December of 2006 with 17 people.  In May of 2007, we became a chartered member of the Mustang Club of America (MCA), as of March 20th, 2008, we have expanded our membership total to 135 families, with over 175 Mustangs in our 'corral'.  In 2006 without benefit of a club or the MCA, there was a Pony Run held in the mountains of Western NC and over 120 Mustangs participated in the event.  In the fall of 2007, with benefit of a club and the support of the MCA, we hosted over 330 Mustangs for a Pony Run on the Blue Ridge Parkway!  I guess you can say we really grew up in one year!        As the result of our growth and our club's commitment to our charity the CarePartners Hospice Organization, we were recently awarded the prestigious honor of hosting a Mustang Nationals event at the Biltmore Estate in 2010!  Having a Mustang Nationals event at the Biltmore is quite the 'cats meow' and we are already in the early stages of planning for the event.        With the support of the MCA, the local community, CarePartners Health Services, the Biltmore Estate and our local sponsors, we feel that our club will host one of the most exciting  Mustang Nationals ever.  So please continue to visit our website for updates and information as we get closer to Labor Day weekend, 2010.  In the meantime, continue to explore our website as it continues to expand and provide you with information related to events that our club will be hosting this year as well as events that we will be participating in to support local charities and organizations.        I am very proud to be part of such an exciting and vibrant club.  We have incredible members who support and assist our efforts with great enthusiasm.       Please consider joining us for what is rapidly becoming one of the 'must attend' car events in the Southeast.  Our 3rd Annual Mustangs for Hospice Pony Run & Car Show will take place on September the 13th, 2008.  With over 330 Mustangs last year, we are looking at hosting over 400 Mustangs this year!  Come see why our one day regional event has been described as "being as close to a Nationals event as possible".  Great people, food, trophies, prizes and the cool air of the mountains of Western North Carolina are a great reason to come and visit us for the weekend.  The Blue Ridge Mustang Club of Asheville welcomes you and your family.
