Hello fellow Mustangers,

The Blue Ridge Mustang Club of Asheville welcomes you to our upcoming Mustangs at the Mansion national MCA show on Labor Day weekend, 2010. We have some VERY important information regarding where the actual location of the show site will be on the Biltmore estate (sorry, it's not in front of the house!).

If you visit the Biltmore interactive map , http://www.biltmore.com/visit/interactive_map/interactive_map.htm you will find parking lots B, C, and D. Parking lot C is the MAIN show site where the majority of the 500 Mustangs will be located, along with the vendors. Parking lot B is the SECONDARY parking lot for the show and will be host to 100 Mustangs. Parking lot B is 2400 feet from Parking lot C (NOT as the crow flies). It is a very walkable distance, but we WILL provide continuous loop shuttle service between each parking lot, the Biltmore house, the winery, the Inn at the Biltmore, the Biltmore farm, trailer parking and the new Antler Hill Village.

Parking lot D is about 100 yards from Parking lot C. D is a gravel parking area and will be used for club volunteer parking, registered spectator parking and tow vehicle parking. Once this parking lot is full, we will have overflow parking at parking lot E which is about 300 yards from the main show site and is also a gravel parking area. You need not worry, as the gravel parking areas will not be used for any Mustang or vendor parking.

Due to the large amount of trailered vehicles attending our show, the Biltmore has asked that we move our trailer parking area to a larger location (the original location would only hold 50 trailers). The new location can hold over 400 trailers (we are expecting in the vicinity of 150).

The trailer parking area is 2 miles from the main show sites (Parking lot C and B) but still on Biltmore property. Once your Mustang is unloaded, you will be escorted to this location and then transported to the show site. You will have the option of leaving your tow vehicle attached to the trailer OR bring your tow vehicle to parking lots D and E. We suggest that once the days activities have ended to use your tow vehicle as you mode of transportation to and from your hotels, etc. If you wish to take your Mustang to the hotel, then you can leave your tow vehicle at either parking Lot's D or E. JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE YOUR BILTMORE DASH ID ON THE VEHICLE THAT DEPARTS THE PROPERTY EACH NIGHT IN ORDER TO RE-ENTER THE BILTMORE ESTATE THE FOLLOWING DAY.

NOTICE: We are offering EARLY registration on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER THE 2nd, FROM 3:30-7:30pm for TRAILERED VEHICLES ONLY!

If you wish to register early and have your Mustang and your trailer in place, you may do so on Thursday the 2nd. YOU MUST ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 7pm!!! TRANSCOLOR photography will be in place and ready to photograph your car on Thursday the 2nd from 3:30-7:30pm.

Those of you who will be registering on Friday and Saturday, we are asking that as MANY OF YOU AS POSSIBLE to unload your Mustang after registration and then drive it the 1.2 miles to the show site from the registration area. We do however, understand that some of you will need to unload your trailer at the parking lot where your Mustang will be parked for the weekend. You will be able to do that as well on Friday and Saturday.
We are just asking those who are ok with a 1.2 mile drive to unload at registration and have your Mustang parked at the show site. We will then transport you to your tow vehicle and trailer, escort you to the trailer parking area and then back to your Mustang.

With over 8000 acres of land to negotiate, we have quite the logistical task in front of us to insure that all goes smoothly. Anyone who can register their TRAILERED vehicles on Thursday and or be able to drive their TRAILERED vehicles 1.2 miles on Friday or Saturday will be helping us insure a safe and enjoyable event. Thanks!
