I am seriously starting to look at 66 coupes. I have seen a ton with 6-cylinder engines. For some reason I got it in my head that a V-8 was the only way to go. I am not a speed freak, but I want something that can get me out of the way of trouble (like merging, passing, etc.) if I need it too. I am thinking of using this car as a semi-daily driver. I was wondering of the 289 2v is sort of a base requirement or if the 200 inline 6 had enough get up and go to not feel anemic. I want to test drive both, but I was hoping for some opinions from the experts here.
Thanks in advance.
