I think a track day would be great we could go to Shady Side they just redone there surface. Its in NC its close and they have plenty of room for show cars that dont want to race. The event could be for everyone racing and a car show.

I normally would agree but the last 3 times (within a month and a half) I have been and some people I know and you have barely been able to get three runs in. I don't know why they are so busy this year but it has been consistently busy.
Just a FYI.

There is another track I have been wanting to try English mountain, I hear they are not crowded at all and you can run about as much as you want. I will visit their website and post more when I find it out. There is also always Street Fights at Bristol.

No Guys what I am talking about is you cant rent Shady side for the day and have a BRMCOA DAY there! That way its just us and people coming to see us. We could all chip in on it to rent the track. I am sure Joe could get this set up with the owner if not I will talk to him. I think the track owner would love the idea and who knows maybe it would be a yearly event for us!

Oh yea and English mountain is not that great of a track they had to shorten it cause its up hill when you let of the brake at the start you will roll back and due to it being shorter its not a 1/8th.

I don't think the club would do it. Their are only maybe 5 to 10 members that race their cars. Maybe I'm wrong and more people would do it but I don't see the other members talk about racing.
How's your car running since you got the motor back in?

If you will give me the name and number of the owner, I will call him to see what is availble and the cost to rent the track for our club. But, like fast50 said, there are but a handful of us that want to race. BUT, given a club-only track event MIGHT encourage some who are timid about letting their ponys run down the 1/8th. You can PM me or call me at 337-1557.
